Stitch fix #5

Here we go again Stitch fix  #5 arrived and let me tell you for the first time I'm not happy.
With my blog I'm always going to be honest. I don't make money off it. So its and honest opinion. I order my stitch fixes with my own money and don't get anything in return.

So they sent me a new stylist this month and boy did she SUCK. I loved the first four fixes so I can't complain I got one bad egg.

The clothes that came they were not my personality at all. Not one thing really. I almost debated on just letting them keep my 20.00 this month. Remember!! You get to take 20.00 off anything you keep. If you don't keep anything you loose 20.00 dollars

I recieved a clailin maxi skirt  ($ 54.00)
Negatives: It was cute but,  I only wear maxi to the pool or when I'm pregnant. When you 5"1 you don't wear clothes that make you look shorter.
Positives: about the skirt; it was super cute and it was super soft.  The print was really pretty but again I don't wear maxis skirts

A pair of emergency houndstooth black skinny pants( $ 98.00)

Negative: holy hell they were 98.00 for a pair of pixie pants.  Um no not when you can go to old navy or geez even Nordstrom and get these pants for less money.
Positives: the print was  very cute and they were really comfortable. I probably would of kept them if they were like 50.00 dollars then I would of got 20.00 off them with my style  credit fee. But  at $78 dollars it seemed a bit pricy to me. I personally would rather have a new pair of jeans for that price.

A black and white chevron print top the Marylyn split neck top($ 58.00)

This  is what I kept. But I really didn't love it I only like it. The only negative and it was kinda a positive.  i thought they send me the wrong shirt because it look absolutely nothing like the picture.

This god awful ugly clutch($ 48.00)
it was so ugly I forgot to take a picture of it.!!  It was orange ( where the green  was and white  where navy is) with navy anchor print interior enough said.

floral top$68.00
which by far is the ugliest thing stitch fix ever sent me ) I don't know between this top and the clutch they were both pretty ugly.  I think my facial expression says it all. It's so ugly I don't even have something positive to write about it.

Well I know this month in not really selling you of the idea of stitch fix.   Let me tell you I do love stitch fix when I get a stylist that looks at my Instagram and takes the time to truly figure out my style. You can see my old blog posts on some of the cute things I got.  I have received some of the cutest thing from them. I guess that is why I'm so mad and disappointed I got such a bad one this month.
Another thing is it is super fun to get a package every two weeks. With small kids I don't get to shop in a store to often. So most of my shopping is done online. So stitch fix is very convenient. Also the sizing I get is mostly petite and everything I get always fits great. The things I get are also good quality. Most of the time the tops I get are super cute. So that a few of the reasons why you should try it.
So again if you want to try your luck at stitch fix. Click here ---->  it's always free to cancel. And the worst thing you could do is loose 20.00 so take the chance you might just love it too.

Telling me if your loving the blog or leave a blog post tell me what you think.

T shirt dresses obsessed... lately.

Ok I admit it I'm defiantly more a jean girl than a dress girl. It's just easier for me with 2 toddler boys. I feel like I'm always chasing them around. I want to be comfortable but still look cute. Let me take you down memory lane a bit.

BC ( before children) My wardrobe was so different. I wore dresses a lot more. I wore heels everyday even to the grocery store. I owned one pair of Gym shoes for gym only( still do that one) and I dressed up a lot more. Dang I wish I had Instagram back then  circa  2001- 2010.  I would have been something. Hahah j.k :0p
When I got pregnant in 2010 I literally bought my 1st pair of flats because I literally couldn't walk in heels any longer.(I'm only 5"1 ) so I hate being short.

I remember my friends going shoe shopping with me and laughing because I really didn't want to buy flats even then. Now I love flats go figure. Which makes me laugh at some of these other mom bloggers wearing their Loubs or rock studs with their children in their ig picture.
On ig saying:  just hanging out with my little one today having fun Seriously!!!! I'm not knocking them.  I have Loubs and other expensive shoes too but no fing way am I wearing those good shoes so my kids can step on them. Or spill something on them. Or make me run after them in a four inch stiletto.

Um No thanks I'll keep it real and save those for date nights.
Not for the zoo or park with my kids. I'm just saying. To each their own. I guess. Or fake it till you make it on ig.
Lol how time have changed. Big time.
Ok rant over;) :)

Onto My t shirt dress I had on Instagram today is almost sold out but it's super comfy and cute. I bought it both the royal blue and the navy blue striped one. They were $12.50 but old navy always has a shopping code all the time.  So look for it and get more money off.

Plus I linked the bracelets and necklace is Kendra Scott and  its on sale open to public tomorrow.  Finally now that everything is probably sold out:(

So are  you loving this too?  Don't forget to follow along on Instagram

Stitch fix #4

So it's here again my Stitch fix!!came. I get so excited to rip into my stitch fix box  every time it comes to my door. Then after I send back what I don't want I wait anxiously for my next box to arrive a few weeks later.

Have you tried it yet?  I love for you to use my link to sign up. Try it here   It's only 20.00 to sign up if you don't like it you can cancel it at any time.  What are you waiting for.

On to my box. So I had a new stylist this month. I really love getting my box even when I don't always get things I like. This month when I open my box I loved everything except one piece. A pair of earrings. I had one top I was so so on a pink paisley top. It wasn't really my style, but I thought it was cute. So I always try everything on even if I think I might not like it. Because I was surprised by things I kept from previous boxes.

Even as I right this I haven't fully decided what I'm keeping out of this box.
Well this is what I received. A pair of earrings. ($28) I knew these were going back right away. A paisley top very boho chic( 68) a striped dress ( 68). A black shell top ( 44) and a pair of jeans (118)

Remember I get to take 20.00 dollars off whatever I keep.  So if I kept just the shell top I pay 24.00 plus tax. Also if I had a box I really like and I keep all 5 pieces I get 25%off.

Well what I know I wasn't keeping was the jeans and the earrings right off the bat.  I really like the paisley top but it really wasn't my style.
So I'm debating between the dress and the black shell top.
What should I keep I can decide.???

Try stitch fix for 1 month I know you'll say im loving this too!! Click here Stitchfix

Striped dress.

I got a lot of comments about the stripped dress I had on Instagram.
That is what I wore on Father's Day. I posted it for national pink day.  Hello!!! Who invents these days I swear. How could I not know about this day. You know how much I love pink.

Ok so the dress I actually bought it from a resale shop on Instagram. I have never ever bought anything in my life from resale. I'm a only child so I've never had to share clothes. I never really borrowed friends clothes either. So wearing something used I kinda was like eehhh!!

This shop on Instagram is  Shopwithpdls. She posts  new and used stuff. She also posts a few times a week.  She has a lot of Desinger brand for sale...   lilly, loft, J crew, sometime brand new.

So I bought this dress and another dress  for 42.00 dollars shipped. This dress was 23.00.  The other dress was brand new and still had the tags on it. ( I'll post it later this week.)

I just thought I share this isn't sponsored or anything I just like following her Instagram and I thought you might like her shop as well. Who knows you might just say.....

I'm loving this too.

Stitch fix #3

So here we go again my stitch fix came. It's like getting a little box of excitement. This was my 3 rd box. if you haven't read my other posts. If your interested in stitch fix you can sign up here.Stitch fix info
So you pay a 20.00 styling fee and fill out a style profile quiz . Then you receive 5 items in your box. Keep what you want and send back the rest in a prepaid package.
Let me tell you I was skeptical. My stylist they picked for me has been really good. She sending me pieces that really have been my personality and style.

This month was the first box I was like a little tiny bit disappointed in. It is kinda a double edge sword I loved the box but didn't like it as well.  I really like the pieces she picked but the just weren't exactly me or didn't fit right. Probably because my 1st and 2nd box were so dead on. This one beings little off was a tiny bit of a let down.

So what did I get this month. I paired the prices
I received a clutch $38 , A pair of jeans $88,  a dress $78, a cute scalloped top $44. and a faux leather Moto jacket $74. 5 pieces total. With the 25 % discount and 20.00 style fee rebursement My total would be 221.50 for everything. Which you could make a somewhat cheaper depending on your budget. I have my account set up to receive mid priced pieces. Plus you don't have to keep everything only what you want. So read below to find out what I received and what I sent back.

See my photos below.

Leave a msg here or on Instagram imlovingthis_too.  if you have any questions. Or I can send you a email with a direct link.
I know you'll say I'm loving this too.

I really loved the style of this dress and the cut look great on me, but the print was So not me. I so wish it was just one solid color I would of kept it. My husband didn't like the print either.

The Moto jacket was really cute but it felt cheap. Just being honest. But I sent it back because it just didn't fit right I am way too petite and it was way too big on me. (See the arms) too long.

These jeans. They fit ok. I'm only 5"1 1/2 if that. I usually only wear skinny jeans or straight leg so I don't have to have them taken up. These were way to long boot cut even though they were petite. Yes stitch fit sells petite and tall sizes. So I sent them back too.

I actually really liked this faux snake embossed clutch. The only reason I didn't keep it is because I rarely get date nights. No babysitters. I'm sure you can relate moms. So it would sit in my closet more than I would get to carry it. For geez sake I return a Chanel clutch the hubby bought me last year for the same reason I know I'm cray cray.

This is what I kept this cute scalloped edge top with adorable back. I thought it would be cute with jeans or shorts.

So i used my 20 dollar style credit. It cost me 27.00 dollars total this month because this is all kept. Not bad right! Tell me what you think?

White jeans

So it seams white jeans are a closet staple. Also it seems to be the Instagram staple of the summer. Throw in a pineapple top or flamingo top and you might just have Instagram outfit trifecta.
:0p

All kidding aside I finally bought a pair of white denim even though I'm a disaster. Yes I said disaster I am always spilling something on myself or my kids are trying to wipe something on me. So wearing white jeans on a daily.... Might not work as a everyday staple for my life but I'll try and they are super cute.

Well these are my third pair of this brand of jeans. They are vigoss and I got them at Nordstrom.they are really affordable. At least I think Also I think they are good quality for the price.
I want to keep it real for a min. I use to spend a lot of money on denim. If only they had Instagram before I had kids when I was in my 20's  Lol. I really don't see spending 200-250 on denim anymore it's ridiculous. Kids changed me.  I have kids I rather spend that money on them doing something fun and making memories.  Then trying to keep up with a fake lifestyle on Instagram #keepingitreal #justsaying

Top old similar here  , White destroyed denim , shoes Kate spade last season.

Stitch fix number 2

My second Stitch fix  came. Boy was I excited. I tried not to buy anything this month June closet diet was going on. I failed quick as soon as I opened this.

So what's Stitch fix well if you don't know it's simalar to rockbox or ipsy bag but with clothing. You get a personal stylist after you take a survey about your style.  It only 20.00 to sign up. Once you sign up you can use that 20.00 toward a purchase. So for example one of my items I want to get is 38.00 and if that was all I would keep. I would use the 20.00 towards it so the piece would only cost me 18.00. If you keep all 5 pieces they also give you 25 % off.  When your done there is a pre address package you send anything that you are not going to keep back to them. You check out online then wait the long month till your next box would come.
Side note; my stylist really knows my style I have her my Instagram to look at
Every piece she sent this month I adored.

Tell me which pieces should I keep? I want to keep them all but I don't like how some look on. Tell me what you would keep.

If you like to try stitch fix I would love you to sign up here  -->Try stitch fix

I know if you try it you will say I'm loving this too. Xoxo
- Danielle

So here is what the stitch fix looks like when it arrives.

Here are the pieces you always receive 5 items.  3 tops and the necklace dress not pictured

I think I'm keeping this one and maybe this blush one? Help me decide

Not keeping this top or the dress. I love the top and the dress but it looks funny with a Cami and or you can see my bra in both.
